Church House Building Development
An $88 million redevelopment where the existing heritage building will be stripped back to it structural skeleton and re-clad in a fitted glass and terracotta tile façade.
Project Restriction and Issues
Due to the nature of the project, spatial constraints were a primary concern to the builders. Existing foundations and designs did not allow enough space for the required Switchboards.
Due to the size of the building and number of outgoing circuits, form rating and stringent requirements of the builder, the switchboard designs were incapable of fitting inside the designated space.
Price Trandos Engineering was contacted as the premier custom manufacturer. Through collaboration and valued engineering, we were able to redesign and build a switchboard to incorporate:
* A top and bottom riser
* Multiple deck MCCB design
* Compact sheetmetal design
Which enabled our client to supply a fully compliant, fit-for-purpose, board that overcomes the spatial constraints.
