Airports and Airforce Defence Bases
Perth International Airport
The airport is a part of a site wide A$750m redevelopment and transferring into a major transport hub within Australia.
This is one of the most technical and highly onerous projects in the industry’s history. The Site Main Switchboard was required to have a 70kA ARC Fault containment type test to Annex ZD and a heat rise requirement to 5000A. At 15m long and busbar worth 15kms, the main switchboard for T1was one of the largest boards ever built by Price Trandos Engineering. We were the only switchboard manufacturer to comply with the stringent requirements.
